Job Summary: 

The Field Service Engineer is a remote role, based in Chandler, Arizona. Travel may be required to support customer equipment at other locations. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of semiconductor wet and dry processing equipment at the Company’s customer sites .

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on semiconductor wet processing equipment

• Install, commission, and support new equipment at customer sites in accordance with safety and manufacturer specifications

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools and technical documentation

• Provide on-site and remote technical support and training to customers

• Perform other related activities, including parts ordering and site-specific requirements

• Document service activities and equipment issues using company reporting systems

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism

• Provide after-hours phone and on-site support as required

 

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or higher in electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience

• 3–5+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment service or a related technical field

• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, silicon wafer fabrication, flow controls, pneumatics, chemistry, and basic computer programming

• Strong electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Comfortable working around hazardous chemicals and in confined spaces

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work under high-pressure conditions

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Proficient with Windows OS, MS Office, and standard service documentation tools

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including trips lasting up to four weeks
